Biography

Jessica Mendez is a founding partner at Flores Mendez Law, who primarily practices in the areas of employment and personal injury cases. Jessica focuses her practice on the full range of employment law matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and much more. Having represented various companies, Jessica evaluates employment law matters from every angle and perspective, including the employer’s point of view. She is committed to helping distressed and mistreated employees facing different work issues.

Jessica was born and raised in El Paso, Texas who attended the University of Texas at El Paso. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UTEP and became a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to law school, Jessica worked for KPMG, a national accounting firm. She went to St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in 2004. After graduating from law school, Jessica returned home to El Paso and worked for a prominent defense law firm for nine years. In 2014, Jessica made a pivotal decision – to leave the security of a comfortable job and establish her own law office as a plaintiff’s lawyer. Her journey from a defense firm lawyer to a successful plaintiff’s trial attorney is a testament to resilience, passion, and the pursuit of justice. Her story is a reminder that with determination, passion, and a commitment to justice, one can carve out their own path and be a force for positive change. Driven by a shared vision and a desire to provide even more comprehensive legal services, Jessica joined forces with her esteemed colleague, Connie J. Flores, to form, Flores Mendez Law. This strategic move marked a significant milestone in Jessica’s career, where she could expand her impact and continue her unwavering commitment to her clients. She believes in giving back and actively participates in various community events. Her commitment to community engagement is a reflection of her dedication to making a positive impact inside and outside the courtroom.
