Biography

Connie J. Flores is a founding partner of Flores Mendez Law, who focuses on cases involving personal injury, including wrongful death, 18-wheeler cases, on-the-job injuries, premises liability, dram shop cases and auto collision cases throughout New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Her mission is to help injured people who are being treated unfairly by insurance companies at a time when they need the help the most. Connie is a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas who attended the University of Denver and graduated in 2003 with honors from the National Honor Society. Connie went on to attend the University of New Mexico School of Law and graduated in 2008, where she was a recipient the Dean’s Award. During law school, Connie pursued her passion in advancing minorities in the legal field and became President of the Mexican American Law Student Association.

After law school, Connie began her professional legal career at an El Paso-based plaintiff’s personal injury law firm where she had previously been a legal assistant for over eight years prior to going to law school. In 2016, she was a founding partner of Flores, Tawney & Acosta, P.C. in which she was one of the integrate reasons the firm would have four locations throughout the southwest. On October 1, 2023, Connie decided to join forces with a fellow colleague and started the law firm Flores Mendez Law with offices in El Paso and Las Cruces. Whether negotiating with insurance companies or battling in court, Connie will go to work for you and get you the outcome you deserve.

Connie’s passion is mentoring teenage parents for them to continue their education. Having her first son at 15 years old, she knows how difficult it is to stay in school. Her mission is to help and support as many teenage parents as possible by sharing her obstacles and how to overcome them. Connie frequently speaks at local high schools to share her story and the adversity she overcame to become the successful woman she is today. She strongly believes that when you bless others, blessings will come to you from places you had never imagined.
